TINA LEE JEBELY, FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR

Tina created The Roya Agency following a two-decade career spanning private practice at Latham & Watkins, in-house practice at an international investment bank and, between business school and law school, commercial strategy at a technology incubator. Her career took her from Vancouver to Toronto to New York to London and, finally, to Hong Kong – the city she has called home for over a decade. She is a trailblazer of legal talent representation, helping her clients thrive in the face of disruption, while herself disrupting the traditional legal recruitment model by focusing on clients and investing in their future. The Roya Agency is the culmination of Tina’s extensive legal, corporate and leadership experience and her passion for championing and compounding the success of others, particularly female leaders. She is talented in bringing people together, even including multiple marriages. She is a dedicated diversity and inclusion advocate, with a successful track record of advising C-suite executives on such initiatives. Among her accomplishments, she founded and headed an inclusive gender diversity network in Hong Kong, and consulted on the launches of similar networks in the Seoul, Tokyo and Taipei, and also executed best-in-class D&I strategies that yielded senior investment banking promotions. Tina acts as a mentor to several protégés, including through The Women’s Foundation Mentoring Programme for Women Leaders. She enjoys spending time with her family, teaching yoga, practicing taichi and performing dance.
